Practice is only permitted at the UCS fields for which we have
game permits and
on a first come, first served basis. The Shelby Township
and Macomb Township fields are “game only”.
Please see the links to our permits on this web page and print
a copy for your coach’s book and have them with you at all
times.
Thank you,
Ed Sprock
Director of Playing Fields
ATTENTION ALL PARENTS AND COACHES:
There are now 6 soccer fields at Macomb Corners Park. The former Corners park has 4 fields:
Corners Soccer North and South (full sized)
Corners FB North and South (U10)
The Expansion area, accessible via the new road just before the parking lot leads
to the 2 new fields (both U10), Corners EXP East and West.
In addition, we have attached a diagram of the field numbering at Whispering Woods Park, found on the Field Locations page.
Coaches, if you have an extra uniform in your box, this is NOT to be used. You can possibly receive an additional player in the spring.
Coaches, if you use or mis-place it you will be responsible for the cost of the replacement.
We have a list of all the teams who have extra uniforms, and all the uniforms were counted and verified.
Thanks to all the coaches who came
out to the coaches vrs refs game this summer. It was a great game
with the coaches taking the win this year! This will we hope become an annual thing so keep your eyes open for when the next
game will be.
As coaches we are always looking for new drills and skills. below are a couple of links
and some videos.
FourFourTwo
performance has some great coaching ideas from on field activities to
health and welness.
first touch is one of the most important things for our young players.
confidence on the ball can be learned just by playing around with it. heres an easy juggling drill.
Each game we play is full of 1v1 moments, having your players practice a drill like this will prepare them for these moments in game.
Respect is as important as any drill
we teach the kids. Attitude on the sideline from coaches or parents is never
acceptable. Always be positive! Encouragement of player effort provides for
greater enjoyment for the players and leads to better-skilled and
better-motivated
players. A coach can be one of the most influential people in a child’s life, so AYSO requires they create a positive experience for every
boy and girl.

the subject of the email, you must enter your team division
(i.e. U12G), your team #, your coaches name, season
(fall08/spring09) and your record (W-L-T).
Example subject: U12G

Attach your score sheet to this
